Independent Custody Visitor scheme recruitment now open.
The Office of the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) is keen to hear from members of the community across County Durham and Darlington who want to make a real difference and become volunteers for our Independent Custody Visitors scheme.
The scheme, which is ran on a voluntary basis, exist to provide assurance to local communities so that they can have confidence in the way the police treat people who are held in their custody.
